We are taking part in a 12 day missions trip to Swaziland Africa to help facilitate Children's Cup's mega Christmas program for over 3,000 AIDS orphans.A week before the deadline, we sold a Jeep that was donated to us. We were planning on using that money towards a smaller car but every time we tried to buy, it never worked out or we did not feel peace about it. While at a church event the thought that the money should go to help further God's kingdom went though Levi's mind but he was not sure how.
After hearing about Africa and learning more about the need in Swaziland we sensed God's hand moving in this situation.
Swaziland is one of the deadliest places in the world. At 43% of the population infected with AIDS/HIV the children are unfortunately the most affected. What happens is the parents become too sick to care for their new born babies or they are abandoned because of their deadly virus, either way many are left with no option but orphanages. Sadly, AIDS orphanages in Africa are not unusual and the workers are few. After researching about this topic our eyes are open to see the immense need in Africa.
We will be sending out letters to friends and family to extend an invitation in supporting us in prayer and financially.
We are excited to see God move in people's heart and to unite as one to make a change in the world!
