We are coming up on our last week of Outreach. Our team was reflecting on our past weeks and were astonished by how fast it had gone by. Which I think is a good thing because it means that we were keeping busy, but it really does feel like at least 3 months ago since we have been in Monterrey. We have had a great time traveling around Mexico and learning more about the culture and the heart of God. (Levi preaching on Identity in Christ)
Anyways, we have been keeping busy with painting at the church that we have been staying with. We have done some messages at a few different churches and we did a few street programs for kids in the neighborhood.
Today we just got back from visiting the only Christian church in Calmeca, Mexico. This city is a very small town with a very small world view. The pastor of the church used to be the towns drunk. Everyone in town knows the change that has happened in his life and it really shows God's power. It is probably the closest to feeling in an closed country, except were are not. We walked around the city and went to the center, where the main catholic church and government buildings are. It was really awkward and we felt really unwelcomed. (Levi as Jesus at our street program)
This next week we are going to Mexico City for ministry!
(Levi and Kelly hanging out with a cute little baby like always! We just can't seem to get enough! :) )
Please pray for our:
HEALTH- We are still battling colds
MARRIAGE- To keep it strong and healthly
FUTURE- Plans for Cuernavaca and God's timing
