Living Sacrifice

"1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- his good, pleasing, and perfect will" Romans 12:1-2

I cannot believe it has been almost two weeks of not posting anything! Although we are still riding the roller coaster, we are getting better at handling the deep dips and steep inclines. We are learning something different every single day. For instance, how to take rejection, listening rather than talking all about Mexico, stepping down from leadership roles even if we are still passionate, and simply being patient. Everyday we are being stretched and tested to make the right decision and really pressing in to hear God's voice in all situations.

A few days ago we bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Low miles, but has been side swipped and needs some work. Thank God, for Levi. Through lots of prayer and searching we found the prefect one. Unexpectedly this young guy was excited about what we were doing and gave it to us $400 dollars cheaper. Like we keep saying in this blog, every time we get stressed, our will is confirmed. It is getting really crazy.

This weekend we will be in Milwaukee, WI to visit Kelly's older sister Kari. It will be nice to get away since we have been non-stop action since the beginning of March.

Roller coaster Ride

Since our video testimony was shown in church the past weekend, support raising has been gradually picking up. It has been a crazy week of tedious work and rising concerns but also of confirming supporters who believe in us and opening doors of lasting relationships. God is working in crazy ways.

A close friend of ours told us that she had a dream a few weeks ago. In the dream she was given a certain amount that she was suppose to give us. A few days later she
had another dream that she was going to double that amount. She thought that she was crazy until she received her state taxes and it was for the exact amount in her dream. She said knew that it was a clear sign from God. When we heard this, we were simply in awe!

Every time we start to doubt or it seems like we can't handle the stress anymore, God soon reassures us that we are on the right path. We works through people and situations around us and confirms his calling every single time. It has been quite a roller coaster ride.
