Father Heart Of God

This week was another good teaching on the "Father Heart Of God". The pastor who taught this week was the perfect example of a loving caring father. He had a very gentle spirit about him.

On Thursday we had a footwashing where Edgar (a DTS leader) and Pastor Brian washed our feet, prophesied, and prayed over us. It was very intense and both us of us were confirmed that we are in the right place.

Friday, Levi and I with two other DTS students went to go visit Eusavio. (Remember, a week ago Levi and his group prayed with him and he accepted Christ) Well, we drove over to the mall he is currently doing construction at, and visited with him. He was very excited to see us. It was a time of simply planting seeds, but we are praying that he gets stronger in his walk.

Saturday we stopped over at Pastor Abraham's house to fix his car. We had bought a certain part for the car at the boarder the past weekend. It ended up working out perfectly and Levi was able to put it in without any trouble. Abraham asked if we would stay for a small group, we did and Ron Wilson ended up speaking for that night! It was a good message even though we couldn't understand all of it. It worked out well because we were able to have our first Celebrate Recovery meeting with most of the elders of the church. They were very receptive to the idea, and lots of them even shared about addictions in their past and addictions in their family. We have a good feeling about it, and the need is so great in this neighborhood. Ron has a Celebrate Recovery leader's handbook so he can start translating everything we need.

Keep praying for us! At times we feel discouraged but keep relying on His strength to get us through the hard times.

Hey guys,
It's fun to see pictures of you with the kids, and doing things that you love to do, working on cars, ministering to people and stuff like that. We continue to pray for you every day and we are so proud of you.

Hello there!!

From the looks of it all is going well for you both. You look great in all the pictures, especially with all the kids, what's up with that?? haha We really miss you guys and hope and pray for the best for you!! It sounds like God is really blessing you and you are learning so much and that is awesome!! We are still doing Metro Hope birthdays and are going next Monday to celebrate with the "birthday boys". We are also collecting donations of gifts for the guys at Metro Hope to pick out and wrap and give to their kids and wives for Christmas and we have had a lot of donations so it has been really fun and will be a big blessing to MH. Keep looking up to the only One that will never let you down!! Peace out...

Hey!! It is soo exciting to hear from you guys! I love hearing that MH and CR and still working together. We miss tuesday nights and fellowship with all of you! Especially Applebee's half price app's!! Man what we would do for that again. We plan on coming home around Aug/Sep so we will definetly have to do that again. Thank you for the encouragement, sometimes it gets hard and we need uplifting people to keep us going and to feel like we aren't alone here. We are learning so much and are being completely molded. Love you so much. We will keep in touch!
