Identity, Justice, and Grace

Hey everyone! Thank you for praying for Levi, Ron and his son Noah. They all are doing well and are completely healthy! Thank you Jesus!

This past weekend we laid low and worked on our book reports and journals. Levi finally started feeling better on Saturday. On Sunday we went to a local church that we have been attending the past couple weekends since we have been here. At first, we didn't know what to think of it because it is SO different from River Valley, but the pastor is very friendly and inviting. He is pretty good friends with Ron too. The church is only about 45 people, but its in sort of a rough neighborhood. The pastor came up to us last Sunday and asked us to meet with us to go over starting a Celebrate Recovery ministry. We are really excited about it and can't wait to get it started. We would love to meet with other pastors at different churches to do the same. Who knows?

This week has been very intense with teaching on "Identity in Christ". The pastor that is teaching is so intelligent and powerful. It is about realizing that by faith we are righteous in Christ Jesus. Our salvation is not based on works or good deeds, but on faith . He said what pleases God the most is having faith. We should walk with the identity that we are righteous and holy, not focusing so much on our sin. I could go on forever about all the points he made and the verses but I do not have my notebook in front of me.

We are working on getting our car sold back in MN. The guy that was suppose to buy it feel through and we are stuck with trying to sell it miles and miles away. It makes it stressful because we have to communicate through e-mail and then contact Levi's dad so he can meet with the people that are interested. Pray for that area in our life, and also for homesickness. After Levi got better after his infection he started getting hit hard with anxiety and feeling homesick. We pray every morning and usually by mid day he feels better.

Here is a picture of our view from our bedroom window!

So glad that you are feeling better and getting out to do some fun stuff. The intensity of what you are doing requires a break now and then! Love the zoo pictures and the dancing ones too. I especially like the one of my cute boy reading...aaaahh. Miss you guys.
Love and Hugs,
Mom
